Nguyen Thi Huyen is a patent attorney on ACTIP Patent Limited’s Mechanical Team. Her work focuses on patent preparation and application including the translation, review and filing for patents. Ms. Huyen has extensive experience in drafting and litigating responses related to office actions in substantive examination proceedings, and the handling, reexamination and invalidation of same. Ms. Huyen has represented Vietnamese individuals and enterprises in drafting and filing patent applications overseas.

Her experience includes successful application, and filing of patent and design applications in Laos, Cambodia, and Myanmar.

Prior to joining ACTIP Patent Limited in 2012, Ms. Huyen worked for Ageless IP Attorneys & Consultants as a Patent Attorney, and for Tran & Associates as a Patent and Trademark Consultant. Ms. Huyen has experience in patent applications and related Intellectual Property issues in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar.

Ms. Huyen earned a Bachelor of Foreign Language with a major in Technical English from Hanoi University of Science and Technology’s School of Foreign Language in 2008. She has also completed a Training Course on “Intellectual Property in Practice: How to protect and enforce Intellectual Property Rights” organized by VCCI in cooperation with IDLO.
