Nguyen Cuu Duc Binh concentrates his practice on the filing and processing of trademark applications. His skill set includes trademark availability and registration searches, trademark clearance, litigation, processing, due diligence, licensing, counseling and the research and formation of opinions on relative and absolute grounds. Mr. Binh has also litigated responses, appeals, oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board. He has extensive experience in negotiating and drafting licensing, coexistence and settlement agreements. In addition to these areas, Mr. Binh manages client portfolio filing and due renewal issues.

Before joining ACTIP IP Limited, Mr. Binh was a trainee lawyer of YKVN Law firm (White & Case Vietnam) from 2003 to 2004. He has lectured from 2004 through 2008 on International Law at Vietnam National University‘s School of Law in Hanoi, and also served as an in-house lawyer for Vietcombank Securities from 2008 to 2011.

education

Mr. Binh obtained his Master of Law in 2007 from Vietnam National University in Hanoi, his Bachelor of Law with Honors from Vietnam National University in 2003. He was granted a Lawyer In-Training Diploma from the Judicial Academy in 2004.

Nguyen Cuu Duc Binh also received Certificate on Training Program on Ocean Governance and Law of the Sea and Coastal Zones Management in Canada in 2005.
