Doan Thu Hong concentrates her practice on the filing and processing of trademark applications. Her experience includes trademark clearance, due diligence, opinions, licensing, counseling and registration. Ms. Hong has also litigated responses, appeals, oppositions and cancellations before the Trademark Trial & Appeal Board. She is especially skilled at working with trademark litigation and dispute settlement by pursuing effective alternatives, such as co-existance agreement, licensing, mediation and arbitration. In addition to these areas, Ms. Hong manages client portfolio filing and due renewal issues.

Prior to joining ACTIP IP Limited, Ms. Hong was a trademark attorney at Ageless IP Attorneys & Consultants, and two other Trademark Agents. In her five years of experience, she has successfully applied for thousands of trademarks, and her sucesses is also remarkable in complex trademark litigation and dispute.

Ms. Hong obtained a Master of Law in 2011 from Vietnam National University in Hanoi, a Bachelor of Law in 2008 from Hanoi Law University and her Lawyer In-Training Diploma from the Judicial Academy in 2009. She is also a licensed and registered Patent Attorney in Vietnam as of 2011.
